Lingumi, a London-based developer of an English-learning software platform for young children, has raised £4 million (approx. $4.9 million) in a Series A round led by North Summit Capital. Other investors include LocalGlobe, ADV, and Entrepreneur First.
Founded in 2017, Lingumi offers an app that includes lessons, games and activities to help children ages 2 to 6 learn English language skills. According to Tech.eu, the tool is used by more than 100,000 families, with its biggest footprint in China, Taiwan and the U.K.
