Alexandra Roosenburg is founder & executive director of Capitol Learning Academy, a micro-school planned to launch in Washington D.C. in September 2018. Roosenburg has over a decade of experience working in schools. She has held positions as a classroom teacher, a technology coordinator and an administrator in schools in Switzerland, Tanzania and Washington DC. She holds one master's degree in teaching from the University of Virginia and another in international school leadership through the Association for the Advancement of International Education.
In addition to her school-based experience, Roosenburg has served on the auxiliary board of the DC Education Fund for six years. In August 2018, Roosenburg was awarded the 4.0 Schools Tiny Fellowship to launch her new school in Washington D.C.
