Alice Domínguez (she/her) earned a Master of Arts in critical literacy at San Diego State University and has over fifteen years of teaching experience. Presently, she teaches English language arts and yoga and mindfulness at Mater Dei Catholic High School in Chula Vista, California. Her students live on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border. In her English class, students explore diverse literature and research the legacies of local and international policies on their transborder communities. She loves encouraging her students to publish and share their writing with authentic audiences.
