Amanda Novak is an assistant principal at Westgate Community School in Thornton, Colo. She has worked as a teacher, coach, activities director, administrator and social worker, and is passionate about social-emotional learning. Novak has 3-year-old daughter and works tirelessly to ensure that her daughter will have the opportunity to access an authentic, quality education one day.
