Amy Anderson is the Director of ReSchool Colorado, a multi-year initiative of the Donnell-Kay Foundation. Launched in 2013, ReSchool’s mission is to design and launch an inspirational education system that coordinates people and resources in new, dynamic ways, ensuring an experience that is welcoming, empowering, and world-class. Through human-centered design, ReSchool has spent the last three years prototyping various components of an unbundled education system in collaboration with potential users and diverse partners. Prior to leading this effort, Amy ran the Division of Innovation, Choice, and Engagement at the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) as Associate Commissioner and was a founder of The Odyssey School. She also serves on the board for the International Association of K12 Online Learning (iNACOL). Amy holds a Ph.D. and M.Ed. from the University of Colorado and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin. Her work has focused on blended, personalized, and online learning, expanded choice for kids and families, and systems-level policy change.
