Brief Biography
Amy Coe Rodde is a partner in Bridgespan's San Francisco office. Since joining Bridgespan in 2007, Amy has worked extensively in the field of K-12 education. She has worked with a range of organizations and foundations on issues including teacher development and effectiveness, Common Core implementation, social and emotional learning, and growth/replication. She is co-author of the paper "Building the Missing Link between the Common Core and Improved Learning."Prior to joining Bridgespan, Amy worked at NewSchools Venture Fund, a nonprofit venture philanthropy firm that supports and invests in K-12 education entrepreneurs. At NewSchools, she evaluated investment opportunities and provided ongoing strategic and operational support and advice to grantees. Amy also worked as the start-up and operations manager for Education For Change, a charter management organization in Oakland, CA.Before joining NewSchools, Amy worked at Bain & Company, where she advised corporate clients on strategic and operational issues, and private equity firms on investment decisions.Amy graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College with a BA in English and Economics. She also received an MBA and a Masters in Education, both from Stanford University. At Stanford Business School, she was the co-president of the Education Club and a leader of the Public Management Program.
