Barbara Treacy is an adjunct lecturer in the Technology, Innovation and Education program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is also a digital education consultant who has worked with states, districts, colleges and universities, and other educational organizations to enable them to build successful online and blended programs for teachers, students and leaders. Treacy chairs the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's Digital Learning Advisory Council and serves as a member of the MIT Online Education Policy Initiative committee and the Project Tomorrow Advisory Board. She is the former director of EdTech Leaders Online, Education Development Center (EDC)'s award-winning national, capacity-building online learning program for educators. Barbara holds an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and an A.B. from Harvard University
