Barbra Thoeming

Barbra Thoeming had dedicated her career to education. She began as a teacher in 1998 working in traditional school settings before moving into administration as an Asst Principal and later a Principal. During her tenure in the school system, she became actively involved with technology in the classroom. Her interest led her to global online education leader, Florida Virtual School, where she served as an Instructional Manager. When Metro Nashville Public School System decided to begin their first public online school, Barbra was recruited as the Coordinator to begin and lead the program. Barbra has also worked for D2L as a Community Manager where she assisted clients in best practices for online and blended learning. Currently, she is an Educational Consultant and contributing author on educational technology. Barbra has a Bachelors in education and a Masters degree in leadership.
