Brett Kopf is the CEO and co-founder of Remind, a secure messaging app that connects teachers, students and parents. Brett grew up in Skokie, IL, and was diagnosed with ADD and dyslexia in 5th grade. He graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics in 2010.
When school was challenging for him growing up, support from his high school teacher, Mrs. Whitefield, along with his parents helped him graduate. Brett realized that if he could empower the “Mrs. Whitefields” of the world to connect with students and parents, education would improve. Brett and his brother were named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in 2012.
