Carrie Herndon teaches science and robotics at The Fulton School near St. Louis. She routinely presents on the topics of integrating math, science, and STEM at local, national, and international conferences. As a Montessori trained teacher, Carrie uses the environment of her surroundings and the innate curiosity of her students to develop engaging lessons. An active grant writer, Carrie has secured $45,000 in funding for her unique ideas in the classroom. She has received awards for her innovative teaching ideas including the 2017 Vernier Award for Innovative Use of Technology.
