Cyrus Grout

Cyrus Grout is a consulting researcher at the Center for Education Data & Research at the University of Washington, Bothell. He holds a PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from Oregon State University and has been working in education policy research since 2012. Recent research has focused on issues pertaining to the teacher labor market, and the teacher hiring process and teacher pension systems in particular. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including the ILR Review, Education Finance and Policy, Educational Researcher, Regional Science and Urban Economics, and Land Economics.
