Darlene Holland is a high school science teacher at the Whiddon Rogers Education Center, an alternative high school in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She has been teaching science since 2007 and has taught students ranging from middle school to college level in Florida, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Darlene grew up in Haiti and came to the United States when she was a teenager. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Florida Atlantic University, as well as a Masters Degree in Science Education from Nova Southeastern University.
