Elena Silla is excited to be teaching Fourth Grade at Saint Cornelius. She earned her B.A. in Psychology with minors in Education and Business Economics from the University of Notre Dame. She is currently working towards her Masters in Education through the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) at the University of Notre Dame. Ms. Silla wholeheartedly believes that every student deserves to be loved and can succeed with hard work, and integrates this belief into her classroom. Ms. Silla is originally from Philadelphia, but is loving the warmer weather and abundance of nature in the Bay Area.
In addition to teaching, Ms. Silla loves running, hiking, painting, spending time with her friends, drinking coffee, and reading a good book. She also loves spending time with her family and two dogs, who live outside of Philadelphia.
