Eli’s experience spans entrepreneurship, philanthropy, and politics. As an early employee at Coursera, Eli helped lead the company’s international expansion, growing the platform to a million Chinese users in just over a year. Eli has also consulted on housing policy for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and on education for Bloomberg Philanthropies.
Eli has a B.A. from Yale, and an M.B.A. from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. He was a Fulbright scholar in China, and speaks Mandarin and Spanish.
