Gillian Desmarais is the K-8 Fine Arts Director and Middle School Music Teacher for Pioneer Charter School of Science in Everett, MA. She is currently working on IRB research alongside Dr. Alex Ruthmann as an NYU Music Technology Graduate Student for developing curriculum, new music ensembles and web-applications for music learning. Gillian has been nationally recognized by the National Association for Music Education for her work in electronic composition and routinely presents at all-state conferences and universities.
