Harlie Rush is an English language teacher at a primary school in Shanghai, China. Rush, who is originally from Chesapeake, Virginia, has taught in international schools for six years. She has taught English language, math, science, SEL and visual arts. Rush recently completed her master’s degree in applied linguistics, and is a late-in-life polyglot with a passion for studying languages including German, Mandarin and Spanish. She enjoys reading, making art, and writing about education and culture in her free time.
