Harold Levy became director of the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation in Sept. 2014. He had previously spent four years as a managing director at the investment firm, Palm Ventures, a family office that invests in education businesses (2010-2014). Ha served as executive vice president of Kaplan (2002-2008) and as New York City's chancellor of public schools (2000-2002).
