Jake Firman is the Senior Manager of Education Technology at DSST Public Schools, in Denver Colorado. He leads DSST’s implementation of blended instruction in all seven of its 1:1 middle and high schools, as well as leading the network’s software development and data warehousing initiatives.
Before joining DSST in 2011, he taught middle school math for 4 years at Bruce Randolph School, where he also served as Instructional Technology Coordinator for one year, and led initiatives such as a 1:1 tablet PC credit recovery pilot.
Jake enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Angela, and his adorable daughter Mia.
