Jennifer Bartell teaches in the English Department at Spring Valley High School in Columbia, SC. Bartell holds a Bachelor of Arts in English literature and creative writing from Agnes Scott College and a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from the University of South Carolina. Her writing has been featured in a variety of literary magazines and journals including Callaloo, PLUCK!, Limelight and Scalawag. She has participated in a teaching fellowship through The Teachers Guild and writing fellowships with Callaloo and The Watering Hole.
