Jessica Ball

Jessica Ball is an Associate Partner on the Innovative Schools team at NewSchools Venture Fund. Prior to joining NewSchools, Jessica was the Program Officer for Education at the Hyde Family Foundations, where she closely managed the Foundation’s single site charter schools and investments in human capital partnerships, Pre-K and higher education. Jessica began her career as a 6th grade English teacher with Teach for America – Memphis. Immediately following her corps commitment, she joined staff as a Manager, Teacher Leadership Development and cultivated the corps experience and professional development of 30 teachers (K-12).Jessica holds a B.A. in English from Spelman College and a M.A. in Education and Anthropology from Teachers College, Columbia University.
