Jon Chapman is the Co-Founder and President of Global Partnerships for EVERFI, Inc. EVERFI was founded with the mission to use technology to teach, assess, and certify students in critical skills, specifically topics like financial education, STEM , and areas within health and wellness. Through ease of use and deployment, EVERFI has become the industry leader in the development of technology-based critical skill learning platforms that have served over 20,000 schools and their educators within the K12 and the Higher Education markets. This support is delivered at no cost to the K12 schools as EVERFI has developed an impressive list of organizations that license the technology on behalf of schools within communities they care about. These organizations include Fortune 50 companies like General Electric, American Express, and Walmart, some of the nation’s leading African-American policy organizations, all four major North American Sports Leagues (NHL, NBA, NFL and MLB) and Harvard, Princeton, UCLA as well almost 2000 of the leading universities.
Prior to co-founding EVERFI, Jon worked for eleven years in a variety of operating, marketing and business development roles for Kaplan, Inc. A good deal of his work focused on how to harness learning technology as a key component of the curriculum within the K-12 space. His contributions also included running four different markets across the country across several divisions. In each of these posts he championed initiatives that produced substantial and consistent top and bottom line growth.
Having now worked in the education space for over 20 years, Jon's role at EVERFI touches every part of the business. He runs the Global Partnerships Division which leads all efforts to enter into new markets and establish large scale partnerships within those markets. In order to optimize that function, Jon also spends a lot of time across the country meeting with schools and teachers that utilize our products and the partners who help support those schools.
Jon earned his MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and his undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College. He resides in Annapolis, MD with this wife Kirsten, a fellow Bowdoin Alum, and their two children.
