Dr. Kathy Curran has been working in K-12 education for over 15 years and is currently the coordinator of academic technology and instructional services at North Allegheny School District in Pennsylvania.
Prior to working in public education she worked in academic computing departments at several colleges in the Pittsburgh area. She began her career in IT but has always worked in education; she has a long career in educational technology working with educators at all grade levels to incorporate technology into their teaching practices. Her background uniquely situates her to be a go-between between the IT Department and educators.
