Ka'ua Adams is a 9th grade English teacher at Kealakehe High School in Kona, Hawai'i, and a 2021-2022 EdSurge Voices of Change fellow. She received a bachelor's degree in English literature and creative writing at the University of Washington and earned her teaching certification in the English language arts from Chaminade University of Honolulu.
