Leyla is a learning specialist and history teacher with over 14 years of experience working with students from K-12 in both public and private schools in the tri-state area. Leyla is currently a middle school learning specialist at Trevor Day School in Manhattan and works with both students and faculty to deliver a high quality education for a diverse group of learners. She holds a Bachelor's degree in History from William Paterson University and two Master's degrees from New Jersey City University in both Educational Technology and Special Education.
Leyla is dedicated to being a 21st Century educator and also is an ISTE Certified Educator. She is a member of the Tech Fellows group at her school and works with teachers to use technology to enhance both teaching and learning.
