Margaret Lee currently serves as director of organizational development for Frederick County Public Schools. Lee is a graduate of Hood College and holds a M.Ed. in educational leadership from Frostburg State University. Her experience includes teaching middle school language arts, serving as a literacy specialist, district-level professional development leader, middle school administrator and supervisor of advanced academics. In addition, she taught courses in education and psychology at the undergraduate and graduate levels and served as a policy advisor on Mind Brain Education Science for the International Society for Technology in Education. Lee’s work in the field of the science of learning has led her to collaborative projects with the Center for Transformative Teaching & Learning, Alliance for Excellent Education, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and the Pew Charitable Trust. Meg is a frequent presenter at conferences and enjoys working with children, parents and educators in that role and she is co-author of “Mindsets for Parents: Strategies to Encourage Growth Mindsets in Kids,” with Mary Cay Ricci.
