Dr. Margie Johnson has 18 years of experience in K-12 education. She was a middle school teacher in Kentucky, North Carolina, and Tennessee before moving into a variety of roles at central office, including instructional technology coordinator and director of professional development. Additionally, she was the instructional technology specialist for the Appalachia Regional Comprehensive Center at Edvantia where she provided instructional technology technical assistance to the Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia state departments of education. Currently, Dr. Johnson works for the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, where she leverages technology to provide training and facilitation solutions throughout the district.
