Matt has spent his career looking for creative and innovative ways to improve education both inside and outside the classroom. Prior to joining Famigo, an early childhood and elementary EdTech company, Matt worked as an Outward Bound sailing instructor and elementary school teacher as well as co-founding two dropout prevention programs in Charleston, South Carolina that utilized a traditionally rigged tall ship to deliver character development and leadership curricula. Matt holds a BA in Philosophy from Colgate University, an MBA from the College of Charleston, and is taking a leave of absence from the University of Texas School of Law in order to focus all of his attention on Famigo.
