Matty Bengloff is the Project Director for the Race to the Top grant at Clarksdale Municipal School District. He grew up in New York City and graduated from SMU in Dallas, Texas with a degree in Finance. He moved to the Delta in 2007 and taught middle school math in Marianna, Arkansas. Prior to taking his current position at CMSD this February, he spent five years working for Teach For America as the liaison between TFA and their partner school districts in Mississippi and Arkansas. Matty lives in Cleveland, Mississippi with his wife Suzette Matthews where they own Delta Dairy, a small ice cream and froyo shop.
