Nafez is Managing Director & CEO of the London office of the Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development.
Previously, Nafez was a visiting fellow with New America and the manager of Edraak.org. He was also a strategy consultant with PwC’s Education Practice, where he worked with different governments across the GCC, focusing on school to employment transitions and the establishment of regional think tanks.
Outside the office, Nafez writes for several publications including the Huffington Post and focuses on education technology at Wamda, covering entrepreneurs in that space and helping them create successful companies. Nafez is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shaper community and the Sandbox Network Amman Ambassador. He is a Yale College graduate where he completed a yearlong, award winning, thesis on the Obstacles towards Curriculum Reform in the Middle East which was published by the Dubai School of Government.
