Natalia Kucirkova is a professor of early childhood education and development at the University of Stavanger, Norway, a professor of reading and children’s development at The Open University, in the U.K., and a visiting professor at University College London. Kucirkova’s research concerns innovative ways of supporting children’s reading, personalized learning and exploring the role of senses in education. Kucirkova’s research takes place collaboratively across academia, commercial and third sectors. She led the development of the award-winning children’s app "Our Story" and co-founded WiKIT, an international research organization that bridges learning sciences and children's edtech industry. Her latest book is “The Future of the Self.”
