Owen is a Consultant at UPD Consulting, where he specializes in implementing Ed Tech data solutions for districts and states. He is a co-founder of Bright Bot, a start-up that provided teachers with real-time data on student mastery of Common Core standards and was a Special Education teacher in Washington, D.C.
Owen has a M.Ed from George Mason University and a B.A. from Kalamazoo College. When not thinking about education data, you can find him playing soccer, building marginally useful iPhone apps, or exploring new cities.
