Brief Biography
Parker is a consultant helping schools and businesses integrate making and design thinking. Previously he ran the DARPA-funded Mentor program for Make Magazine which integrated makerspaces into high schools around the Bay Area. He is also an entrepreneur, a maker, an airplane builder and cofounder of Urban Montessori, a K-8 charter school in Oakland based on the teachings of Maria Montessori and design thinking.
