Randi Bender is Chief Content Officer for Reading Plus. She’s been a member of the Vermont-based company’s editorial team since 2006. Randi believes literacy is a basic human right, and she works every day to ensure that students are empowered with the ability to read.
She partners with thought-leaders, experts, and classroom educators to design, develop, and deliver exceptional instructional content to students of all ages. Under her direction, Reading Plushas cultivated a library of vibrant, engaging texts that adhere to national and state ELA standards, are deeply committed to equity in education, and prepare students to be informed world citizens.
She is a frequent contributor to the Reading Plus blog, and has written research papers and other collateral about the Reading Plus program’s pedagogy and program logic.
She lives with her family in Dix Hills, NY.
