Sarah is the Region 2 Director of the Migrant Education Program, extending from the Marin County, California to the Oregon border, where she leads efforts to provide high-quality educational and support services to migrant students and their families. In this role, she works closely with support staff, other educators, and administrators to promote equity and ensure that all students have access to the resources and support they need to succeed.
Sarah is an experienced educator with over 30 years in teaching and leadership roles. Throughout her career, she has focused on working with underserved students, particularly those from migrant and English-learner backgrounds.
In 2017, she earned her doctorate in leadership for equity in education from the University of California, Berkeley. She has served in a variety of leadership roles, including principal, consultant and district-level director.
