Sharon is a passionate educator who believes in creativity, connectivity, and innovation. She has had the privilege of being a public school teacher for over three decades. She is dedicated and committed to making a difference for her students, their families and other educators, who like her, are committed to making a difference that supports positive wishes for the world.
Sharon is a former America Achieves Fellow where she focused on family engagement. She is also an online facilitator for the NEA Professional Practice Communities and an NEA Foundation Global Leadership Fellow. She presents in Vermont and nationally on a variety of topics about learning and using technology to have conversations globally and believes in the use of synchronous and asynchronous tools as opportunities to enhance, enrich and connect learning opportunities.
Her classroom is open globally. She is passionate about creating and developing a learning culture that is not only rich in resources, but opportunities.
