Sharon Goodall

Sharon Goodall is director of innovations in Learning Design & Solutions at University of Maryland University College (UMUC). Sharon leads efforts in investigating and applying next generation instructional design approaches to online learning with the goal of improving student outcomes. Her team works in close collaboration throughout the innovation pilot lifecycle with the Center for Innovation in Learning and Student Success. Together, the units have investigated adaptive learning across a variety of contexts and tools. Prior to joining UMUC, Sharon was a researcher in artificial intelligence and neural networks. That experience is now coming full circle as machine learning and AI find application in the online learning experience.
