After receiving her degree in elementary education from Northwest Nazarene University, Stacey taught nearly every grade in elementary school in Boise, Idaho and South Korea, before gaining her masters in educational leadership from Boise State University and serving as the founding principal of charter school Gem Prep: Nampa.
Stacey is passionate about personalizing learning experiences for all students in an environment that supports respectful relationships and mastery-based expectations. She’s presented nationally through the International Baccalaureate, been published for her work designing truly inquiry-based models of instruction, and worked to spearhead Khan Academy’s kick off of LearnStorm in Idaho.
