Taiwo Demola is an alumnus of Sophia Academy's class of 2014, a nonprofit all-girls independent middle school based in the Providence area. She received an education unlike most, with her core curriculum revolving around the ideals of social justice and the wisdom of the girl. Since graduating, for the last three years she has been involved in youth organizing through the Providence Student Union where she serves as a delegate for the chapter at Classical High School. There she has played a key role in facilitating student-teacher feedback forms, aiding in the fight for ethnic studies, and equitable bus pass regulations. Taiwo also holds a seat on the Superintendents youth council where she continues to remain a advocate for student voice.
