Tia Kim, Ph.D., is a developmental psychologist and serves as vice president of education, research and impact at Committee for Children, a global nonprofit focused on social-emotional learning and development. Kim’s background is in student and educator social-emotional development and well-being. She hosts the organization’s annual educator well-being video series and leads a team of research scientists to develop and evaluate the quality, effectiveness and impact of the organization’s social-emotional learning programs, which are used in 45,000 pre-K-12 schools nationwide.
