Vanessa Peters Hinton is a senior learning sciences researcher at Digital Promise where she conducts research on digital learning in K-12 and higher education. She has been researching educational technology use for over 15 years on projects funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Wallace Foundation, the Institute of Education Sciences, and the National Science Foundation.
Vanessa previously worked at SRI as an Educational Researcher and at the University of Michigan as a Research Fellow where she conducted research on a broad range of topics including the ecological impacts of climate change. She holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning and an M.A. in Computer Applications from the University of Toronto, and a B.A. in Applied Linguistics from Brock University.
